Men's Health
As men, we feel the need to be strong and dependable, to our friends and our families. Invincible in all areas of our lives, in whatever we face, on a daily basis. But the truth is we are not invincible and we need ourselves or those around us to recognise that if we want to continue to be the person we want to be, we must remain healthy.
We must identify that we have a body and a mind that may need help from time to time. There is no shame in admitting this. We have problems that are unique to us. These problems can be bad, but as with all things in health, if we notice a change early, the problem can be solved.
This month we will focus on certain issues that all men should be aware of. If you would like to talk about any of the topics below, please come in and see us. We would rather speak to you face to face. Nothing should be considered too embarrassing to talk about, as we have most likely helped someone with the same problem before.

Prostate Facts
A little gland the size of a walnut, that sits just under your bladder, most men love their prostate without realising, as it has a role when you orgasm. But with age, it can change by becoming larger and sometimes cancerous. By being aware of changes to how your urine comes out, you can identify any problems with your prostate, early. Click here to know what to look for.
Hair Loss
Hair loss affects many men as they age. At present, there is no cure but there certainly are options to help slow the process down. As with all treatments, there are upsides and downsides, so it is important to know the facts before starting any treatments. If you are considering your options, click here for a useful guide. Alternatively, you could just embrace the change!
Your Mood
Money, work, relationships, family responsibilities, the list goes on regarding the things we worry about as men. We try to keep our minds strong whilst coping with what life presents to us. But if we do have a wobble, men are the worst at accepting help. The hardest part of dealing with a mood problem is admitting there is a problem in the first place. If we can do this then the process of solving the problem can begin. Learn more about your mood here.
